Vintage Sounds Mural Acrylic Painting.  ARTchitecture Series.  A painting of stage with vintage instruments and records on the front face of a historic brick armory building - a relic of the cold war.  These armories were repurposed for their communities, and live music was a highly popular venue that people enjoyed immensely.  This particular armory was located on a segregated black main street, so the vintage music chosen for the mural design features 45" vinyl records with artists and labels from some of the most impactful black artists in American music history.  The vintage instruments (guitar, drums, brass, amplifier, microphone, upright piano) and brands were carefully researched for this artwork.  Hand painted in acrylics on a 24x48x1" gallery wrapped canvas, varnished.  Professional wire hanger.  Signed by the artist.
